IRG WTCC XTREME INFO

Postby Adz1200 » 10 Oct 2013, 19:57

Hi all,
Just some early info at the moment.

As you may already know, we have been invited to compete in the upcoming IRG WTCC XTREME series hosted by the guys at IRG. http://irg-world.pl/
Also included in the series will be drivers from DIX racing. http://dix-racing.pl/news.php

This series will be scheduled for Sunday night races.

It's a great chance to represent your club and get involved in busy, competitive grids.
It would be great to see some of our members get on board with this one, all are welcome and encouraged to give it a go.

More details will follow regarding dates and race schedules but meantime you can try the mod and are welcome to use the running IRG server for online sessions.

irgworld.servegame.com:3100 (Currently Laguna Seca)

Download using the IRG tool : http://irg-world.pl/download/1

It would be good to have an idea of who may take part, let us know here so we can add your name to the list of interested drivers.

Many thanks. :)

Interested drivers:

Adam Shaw
David Clark
Tom Ilsbroux
Ken Bell
Mark Breslin

OK. Going to drive the BMW!. Made a few changes to the cockpit view. Setup tweaked and Wheel setup tweaked in various ways including taking the F1 wheel off and putting the GT wheel on.
I really like the Chevy but I feel (although they are 'the same') the BMW is the one to drive. it does feel that it sticks to the road better.

Maybe if Tom is doing the BMW and me too, then perhaps we can be a team? Tom? I feel that I am a better faster driver now so although not on the Pole, I will score points. But I suppose its dependant on the opposition.

Three leagues have decided to jointly race in a WTCC Xtreme season. IRG World, FlatoutClub & Dix Racing give four cars at drivers disposal: Seat, Alfa, Chevrolet and BMW. All of these weigh 1140 kg and put out 598 HP which gives impressive 0,52 HP/kg to cope with in track. Racing weekend will host double race event - the first 20 minutes long race will see drivers start in the order from qualify session. The second 40 minute race will cover a pitstop and the starting order will be decided upon race 1 finish with top10 drivers reversed. All future participants are invited to our server: irgworld.servegame.com:3100, where you can test the cars from WTCC Xtreme mod.

Quite soon a league edition of the mod will be released with the IRG Tool. You can signup to the season now: http://irg-world.pl/thread/123/1#post2

Sign in is now open on IRG forum. http://irg-world.pl/thread/123/2#post19 (Log in to IRG required.)

Mod track and skins are now all available via your IRG tool (Find tool under downloads in drop down menu below your name when logged into IRG forum)

Before signing in we should select teams (Two drivers per team), if we stick with Flatout EOD racing #1, #2, #3 etc it would make life easier.

If team #1 and #2 stay as they are we need someone to pair up with Mark, would someone step up please, we would really appreciate it ! ! !

It would be nice to field perhaps 5 teams, c'mon guys we can manage that, its a great chance to get back on track together, now is as good a time as any, get involved or at least reply, thanks. :-*
