Hi Fellas,
Its about that time again when we announce what our next Flatout series is going to be. We did look at the idea of going back to Evo for a short series, but think with the better and more options we have on the server its best to stick with rFactor, plus we have the STC league for Evo races.
This series is going to be slightly different to the norm we have been running, and it’s going to be a bit experimental at the beginning, so please bear with us.
Our last race of the current GP 79 series is Sunday 18th Apr @ Monaco. We would normally then be racing on the Saturday after this, but what is going to happen now is 2 weeks of testing in the NAGT Mod round the Thermalito track for the 3 hour Enduro race which is happening on the 1st May. The reason for this length of testing, is also so we can determine teams not just for this race but for the next season as well.
The teams are going to be worked out by the times everyone sets matching one ‘Racing’ driver and one ‘Club’ by the quickest Racing driver is matched to the slowest club, then 2nd racing to 2nd slowest club and so on………. This is the fairest way we can think of trying to complete this task, so in these 2 weeks we ideally need everyone who is taking part to really go for it with their times. The 2 normal individual championships will still be run the same way they are now as well.
Another change is going to be the points system for this series which is explained further below.
The series itself, will be run over 10 rounds, consisting of one 3 hour race, then either 60, 90 or 120 minute races for the remaining 9.
