Welcome to the next Flatout Event, "The GP classics". Since the Double Trouble season worked very well we are going to use the same format.

In this six round racing season we shall be racing the "GT Pro" class.
Each Round will consist of two races, One sprint race and one feature race "The GP Classics".
Both races will be made slightly more interesting with the introduction of x2 fuel and tyre wear.
Each Driver may chose any car for each race, however each driver must use two cars per round,
one for the sprint and a different one for the feature races.

Race Format:

Server settings - GT Pro, x2 Fuel, x2 Tyre wear, Dry weather.

Sessions starts - 19:00 UK time (20:00 CET time)

Practice session - 30 mins

Qualifying session - 15 mins SuperPole

Warmup session - 5 mins

Race One Sprint race - 15 mins (Standing Start)

Race Two feature race "The GP classics" - 30 mins, one mandatory pit-stop, must change all four tyres, fuel is optional (Rolling Start, Reverse grid)

Driver Information:

Choose any GT Pro car for each race.

Each car can only be used once per Track.

Points System:

Sprint and Feature races score seperate points which will be added up after each round.
A maximum of 20 points are available for each round.

1st - 10 points
2nd - 8 points
3rd - 6 points
4th - 4 points
5th - 3 points
6th - 2 points
7th - 1 point

First round will be Saturday 25th April.

Good idea, since there isn't the problem anymore of mismatches if you havn't installed skins.
I will look into it.

Yeah, the format of Double Trouble works very well.  Nice.  Trouble is, the faster ones always win anyway, but its nice to hang on for dear life for a lap or two.

#well, I will sip a glass of wine for another good season.

Cheers guys

Me to looking forward for this one Party03
The Sepang circuit is great, It is no idea to try push for good times, just stay in the line and try to find a smoth flow is the key here,
Have now driven the Gumpert on low 59s, it`s a beast with very bad brakes, and the C6 Vette on low 58s, first attempt ever in this car, and it felt very smoth and powerful, good brakes and nice handling, maybe little loose rear when pushing on full power at the lower gears,
Attaching my setups, they are not 100% redy, but a good start

Thanks for the setups Wheely.  I will give the Vette ago tomorrow hopefully.  The Saleen seems the best car for me round here, using its torque to good effect.

I have installed the Skinpacks on the server that Hatch proposed, so those who want to use a dif skin can use them.
If you are happy with the standard skins you don't have to install it. There are no mismatches anymore with RACE07

The download links are added in the server annoucement on the frontpage.
