Running a resolution that low Barry the CPU is doing most of the work and you will be limited by the CPU. The GTX275 is designed to be used at resolutions like 1080p etc and that's where it will shine and you will see the GPU loads increase at these resolutions. When i used to run my 4870X2 at 1360x768 my card hated it and is far smoother at 1080p where it's designed to be used. Running that resolution a 9800GTX or 4850 would of been a better choice mate but at least you are future proofed with the GTX as it has plenty of oomphh if you intend tio stick at that res.

Barry, with that card, try running a higher, or highest resolution and put EVERYTHING up to MAX/FAR etc. Your card will love it.
Mine is a GTX285 and its ticking over.

Have you installed all the nVidia extra stuff like the nVidia control panel, PhysX, etc etc. Brfore anyone says its irrelevant for rFactor, some of it is not. You can adjust all the AA and other things we dont understand with it. In fact, Lee might!!
Its got AA, buffering, mipmaps etc. I have GTR2, rFactor, Evo, Race07 etc all adjusted with the Control Panel and i have noticed improvements with the games.
